BK Associates was established in 1984 by William H. Bath and John F. Keitz to provide professional consulting services in virtually every facet of aviation. The company was in part founded by the acquisition of the assets of well known aviation consulting firm, R. Dixon Speas Associates, Inc.  In 2018, Pooja Gardemal purchased BK Associates, Inc. New leadership brought a diverse valuation background and a strong reputation in intangible asset valuation. Today, BK is a full-service aviation, valuation consultancy.

While BK specializes in aircraft appraisals and related services, the aviation experience of its team is varied and includes such disciplines as aircraft performance analysis, air traffic control, maintenance facility design, audits of corporate flight operations, airline schedule analysis, noise studies, transportation economics, route planning, brand and loyalty valuation and management and organization planning.
